MUDC offers classes for Ballroom, Latin, Street Latin, New Vogue, and Swing.

For times and venues of classes, refer to the Timetable.

Ballroom
Also known as Standard, includes Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz. These are formal, elegant dances, and for many people, the epitome of ballroom dance.

Latin
Latin includes Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rhumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. Lively dances with rhythmic music, these are ballroom dances with their roots in Latin America.

Street Latin
Street Latin includes Mambo, Merengue, Salsa, and Lambada. These dances are dubbed Street Latin because they evolved from the street dances in Latin America.

New Vogue
New Vogue includes Carousel, Barclay Blues, Tangoette and many more. Originating from Australia and based on Old-Time dances, New Vogue is the only dancesport style where all the couples dance the same sequence of steps.

Swing
Swing includes Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, and many others. Swing dancing began early in the 20th century along with Big Bands — today, the cool music and cool attitude of the style makes it one of the most popular.
