Music: My fave song changes as new songs come in, although I'm a sucker for boy bands (there, I've said it)

Favourite Movie: The Lord of the Rings trilogy

Has been dancing for: On and off since high school (though mainly traditional dances) and 2 years in MUDC

Main Styles: Street Latin, Latin, Standard ballroom, and Swing

What got you interested in dance?: Genes, passed down from my mum who is a great dancer herself

Favourite style & why?: Street Latin, since that was my stepping stone into MUDC. It's also relatively easy to learn, remember and dance socially. Hence, it's a fun dance for me.

Jun Takahashi - Vice President

Music: Hip hop RnB

Has been dancing for: All my life really. But I started St Latin& Latin in 2007

Main Styles: Hip hop, St.Lating & Latin.

Favourite style & why?: I have 2 favourite styles. 1. Hip hop. Because it's soo much fun! 2. Latin. I like the technical side of it! hehe!

What got you interested in dance?: I’ve always loved dancing, and when I heard there was dancing at uni, I couldn’t wait to get involved.

Favourite style & why?: Swing! Because the swing social scene is great, the music is fun to listen and dance to, and because I love the joyful yet relaxed style of swing dancing.

Degree & Year: Bachelor Science/Bachelor Arts -5th and final (yay!) year. German and Chemistry majors, if you're really that interested.

Favourite Food: Snacks.

Music: Hmm, what band t-shirts do I have? Ben Folds, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Royal Crown Revue(x2). And anything that gets me up and dancing I guess. But that's not hard.

Favourite Movie: The Boondock Saints. "What are we going to need a rope for?"

Main Styles: Swing. (And a bit of Street Latin.) Hope to expand this list this year.

What got you interested in dance?: Swing music. Man can those guys play.

Favourite style & why?: Swing. There's this amazing little thing called "leading". And after hours of classes, I can't be bothered learning a routine! (I'm not biased or judgemental at all...)

What got you interested in dance?: Enjoyed the classes offered in school, and took up swing the following year.

Favourite style & why?: Swing. I love the relaxed atmosphere and spending time with my friends.

Has been dancing for: Since year 8. Taken classes since 2006. Been with MUDC since 2007.

What got you interested in dance: My interest in music. Dancing helps me to enjoy it so much more.

Favourite style & why: The Chicken Dance. No, seriously, I really enjoy swing with a partner because the music is just swell and I get to put my own groove into it, and on my own I enjoy Locking cos you dance it to funk music and lets you be a character.

Has been dancing for: Dancing for 16 yearss, but only one year of dancesport styles.

What got you interested in dance: My interest in music. Dancing helps me to enjoy it so much more.

What got you interested in dance?: looking at the professionals dance one day really gave me the inspiration to be like one of them in the years to come... and So you think you can dance

Favourite style & why?: Latin! I just love the quick and sharp rhythm to it and the techniques are definitely a challenge but i have so much fun taking it on.

Music: I have commitment issues when it comes to selecting a particular genre of music, as I like bits and pieces of most styles.

Favourite Movie: There are too many favourites all from different genres but I’ll go with “Little Miss Sunshine” as it’s a movie that makes me happy.

Has been dancing for: Video evidence suggests that I have been dancing (more like attempting to dance) since I was two. I started lessons when I was three and have been dancing different styles on and off since then.

Favourite style & why?: I would have to say that swing is my favourite style as it is so relaxed and a whole heap of fun!

Favourite style and why?: Participating in the school bands in high school led to a fondness for swing, which eventually turned into a love for the dance.
